When you have gratitude in your heart, it is hard to focus your energy on negative things. When
you choose to be grateful, you live in “abundance”. When you live in abundance, you will find
that you are given even more to be grateful for. Develop an “attitude of gratitude”. It is a
powerful force from which all-good things flow.

To develop an “attitude of gratitude” you need to learn to cherish everything you hold dear to
your heart.

To do this, start to think about the things that you cherish the most…the people and the things
that bring you real joy, a sense of accomplishment, and the feeling of being loved whole-
heartedly.

Remember the times that made you laugh so hard you cried. Think of the funny things you have
done. Smile when you think of the people, places and things you are so grateful for. Feel grateful
for just being able to wake up in the morning.

Close your eyes and smile… a huge smile. Feel deep in your heart how being grateful envelopes
you with true contentment and abundance. Feel gratitude of what is yet to come.
Now wrap your arms around yourself and be thankful for YOU! Recognize and feel grateful for
the power that you have to make a difference in your life and the lives of others. Be grateful for
charming, wonderful, YOU!

Put it into ACTION and Grow Your Gratitude!

  • Put your hand over your heart.
  • Meditate on the following: “I am so grateful for my family (name them by name),
    friends, teachers, mentors, good health, knowledge, creative ideas, exciting
    experiences, great opportunities, material possessions…think of them all. Feel SO
    grateful for every single GOOD thing in your life today.”
